OBITUARY FOR Stanley D. Bendzans

Longview, Texas – Stanley D. Bendzans age 72 passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026, at Longview Medical Center hospital following a brief illness.
Born on June 17th, 1953, in Hartford, Connecticut Stan was the son of the late Stanley Bendzans and Lillian Bendzans.
He attended school in Coventry CT and later built a successful career as an automotive sales manager at Jeep where he worked for 10 years before retiring in 2018
Stan was deeply passionate about his family. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to fish and hunt. Residing in Colorado for most of his adult life he and his wife Roxanne, also enjoyed horses and everything “outdoors” offered in that beautiful state.
He will be remembered most for his quick wit, unending generosity and dedication to family
Stan is survived by his loving spouse of 40 years Roxanne.
Children: Karen, Shannon, Kristin.
Grandchildren: Jenee’ Lydia, Jerith, Kaleb, Anthony, Jacynthe.
Great Grandchildren: Shyloh, Charliegh, Arielle, Elva, Denise, Nova, Carter, Kyler, Hannah Sawyer.
Siblings: Mitchell Bendzans, Joyce Brown and Dennis Merchant.
He was preceded in death by parents Stanley and Lillian Bendzans, sisters Robin Bendzans and Laurel Lesniak, and brother Donald Merchant. Daughter Heather
