Yurialva Cristina Pire Romero
Yurialva Cristina Pire Romero, age 16 passed away after a long battle with Leukemia on February 26, 2024 in Dallas, TX with her loving parents at her side.
She was born on November 12, 2007, in Venezuela to Alvaro Pire and Yuritza Romero. At the age of 9 Yurialva and her family moved to Dallas, TX.
Yurialva was a very charismatic individual. Like most other teenagers, she enjoyed books, music (she loved Taylor Swift), hanging with her friends and being a big sister to her adorable 2 year old brother Abdiel. She was a “Girly Girl” who loved make-up, UNO and Grey’s Anatomy. Criminology was also another subject that was very intriguing to her.
Yurialva was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 14. Despite her illness, she would continue to work hard to get her assignments completed with little to no help. There was a point in time while she was taking her semester exam in Biology and receiving chemo treatment that she experienced a medical emergency. This did not stop her determination. Yurialva was so determined and full of life that she would face school and life challenges with a smile. Her amazing demonstration of perseverance did not go unnoticed as she fought each day to get well.
Yurialva is survived by her loving parents; Alvaro and Yuritza; brother, Abdiel Pire; Grandmother, Rubia Pire; Aunts, Ana Pire, Yasmira Pire, Zoritza Romero and Uncle Salomon Rivero.
Yurialva will be dearly missed by many other family and friends as well as the entire medical staff who cared for her.
