Ernest Segovia Jr. passed away to the glory of God on Sunday, December 3, 2023, with his loving wife, Blanca Estela Segovia, by his side at their home after a difficult battle with diabetes and dialysis. He was born May 18, 1971 in Dallas,  Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Blanca Estela Segovia and their son, James Compton, as well as his father, Ernest Segovia Sr. and mother,  Rosa Segovia.

He is also survived by 1 sister and 2 nephews and 1 niece and great nieces and nephews.

Ernest was a hard working husband.

He was a no fair-weather fan of the Chicago Bears and always looked forward to football season.

He loved to have cook outs and loved to have family and friends over at his house so he could have a house party and show off his grilling talent.

Ernest had a big heart for his family and friends and would always help anyone in their time of need.

Ernest accepted salvation in Jesus in 2017.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 10 a.m at:
