Born November 6, 1934 in Kilgore Texas to John Sherwin Webb and Francis Josephine Cox.

Preceded in death by her husband Bobby Boone of Dallas, Texas, brothers Sherwin Mack Webb of Panama City, Florida and Billy Dale Webb of Heath, Texas.

Survived by her daughter Kelley Edmiston of Odessa, Texas and step-son Ricky Bob Boone of Sunnyvale, Texas.

Ruby grew up in Odessa Texas. She attended Odessa High School where she made many life-long friends.

Ruby and her husband Bobby were longtime members of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas.

They enjoyed hosting gatherings for friends and family at their home in Dallas. Ruby was a great cook and meals were always memorable.

After a long career as a secretary for Fina Petrochemical in Dallas, Texas she retired and became active in her church and neighborhood.

A Memorial Service conducted by Pastor James O’Dell is planned for Ruby on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 3300 La Prada Drive, Mesquite, Texas 75150. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Bobby Boone at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney, Texas.
