George William Price Jr

George William (Bill) Price, Jr., 70, of Quinlan, TX passed away on July 13, 2023, after a battle with Lewy-Body Dementia.

 Bill, born August 23, 1952, grew up in St. Louis, MO and Norfolk, VA. Bill was known for his love of trains, cars, and the outdoors. After graduating from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a degree in Accounting, Bill spent years working in the field of accounting and project management.

 Bill lived a full life as he dedicated his time and talents to the various churches he was a member of throughout his life, spreading the message of God’s love and salvation. Bill was known for sharing his love and passion for delicious BBQ that he prepared for ministries and events in the communities he lived and served.

 Bill retired in 2016 from Schlumberger Oilfield Services. His time at Schlumberger allowed him to travel the world and he often shared captivating stories of his adventures and the culture he learned about as his experience took him to many remarkable places.

 Bill’s unwavering faith guided him through life’s trials and joys, and he faced each day with grace and unwavering trust in the Lord. His warm smile, witty demeanor, and words of wisdom provided solace and encouragement to those who sought his counsel.

 Bill is survived by his wife, Kathy, his three children, Matthew and wife Iya, Elizabeth and husband Jeff, and Kimberly and husband Sam, his six grandchildren, Cate, Jack, Amelia, Tobias, Annabella, Aubriella, and his two younger brothers, Thomas and David.  Bill’s life serves as a reminder of the power of faith, love, and the promise of salvation through Jesus Christ. Memorial service will be held at the Custer Road United Methodist Church Prayer Room on July 29, 2023, at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA).
